Warming to Washington D.C.

I am officially removed a few weeks from my business & vacation trip to our nations capitol! I always start a trip wondering how well the flight will be.  Turbulence, flight time, seating arrangements...etc  I will preface this by saying I really prefer flying Southwest as I appreciate the no bag fees and just good feel.

Hello Windy City!

Visited the Windy City in May 2012.  Business travel to Ottawa, IL and some vacation time in Chicago!

I really didn't know what to expect from Siem Reap, Cambodia.  After the big city feel of Bangkok, I was pretty exhausted from all day walking, and all night activities.  I wasn't sure if the flooding in Thailand had or would effect our trip, but was eager to check out our next stop.  Cambodia was really the unknown on this whole trip.

My first opportunity to visit a foreign locale not in the America's!  I am really enjoying business trips and then planning some personal vacation or holiday time for myself!  From my previous visit to New Orleans (NOLA), I knew we'd be traveling to one of our overseas vendors; I just didn't know which one and where. 

Northern Arizona - Great Family Trip

Finally able to recap our families Northern Arizona trip that included visits to the Petrified Forest, Painted Desert, Meteor Crater, and Grand Canyon.

Unfortunately, we weren't able to visit a couple planned spots due to timing, weather...etc.  We'll have to get to Sedona & Jerome another trip!

Northern Arizona Road Trip

Well just a couple days away from a family road trip to Northern Arizona for about a week to see sights that my children haven't ever been too.  My wife and I haven't been to many of these sights since we were younger.

Business & Pleasure in New Orleans

Guess it shouldn't take me a year to update a trip, but life is busy!

I was really looking forward to this trip as it was the first time visiting New Orleans, but my best friend was able to arrange to meet me there to enjoy the city!

Clock goes round and round

Whomever said "Time flies when you're having fun", was certainly correct; although, it can also fly when you're not having so much fun.  Have you ever asked yourself, "Where did my day go".  Did you ever wonder why your parents tell you it's bedtime, when you are still awake?  Why does time have to fly when you get older, but seems to move slowly when you are younger?

Curling - Not what you think

I usually enjoy team building events that our work puts on quarterly for our department.  In the past, events like Paint-ball (outside better than inside), softball, bowling and D-Back games have all exceeded my expectations!  I didn't really know what to expect in the game you've seen on the Winter Olympics...Shuffleboard...err Curling!
